A second shampoo is necessary if excessive product is in the hair, or medication is present. Do not condition.Step 2: Dry hair 75%. Apply Simply Smooth Designer Line Smooth and Straight Part 1 1/4-1/2 inch off scalp. Starting in the areas with the strongest texture, apply with a bowl and brush. Never overlap on areas previously relaxed with sodium hydroxide, or any other straightener or relaxer, as breakage can occur. Virgin application; apply mid-shaft, go back and apply 1/4-1/2 inch off scalp, and finally apply to the ends.
